Beasley Family
We can trace the Beasley line back to Anthony Beasley born 1787 in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire England. He married Ann Stevens, daughter of Ralph and Ann (Budd) Stevens. Fortunately for us branches of this line still live in Whitchurch, and one of our researching cousins lives in the area. This enabled us to have access to records not readily available by regular means.
In 1839 Anthony and Ann's grandson Anthony married Betsy Fincher. He was a Cooper, Carter, and Brick and Tile Manufacturer. This is the generation where some of their children moved away. Their son Joseph to Clewer (pictured at right), and William moved to Canada.
